Most people are thinking that floating slabs can be used as a foundation only for sheds, car garages and other "small" constructions. But can we use the concrete slab as a foundation for the real "big" house? Look at the picture at the right: that cute castle, built by my buddy, got a concrete floating slab as a foundation. That slab is different from the typical construction: it is strongly reinforced through the body with two levels of rebar mesh. And it does not have frost footings. How to install a corner shower box? I bought a noname "Made in China" corner shower box with glass doors. The price was good and I liked the design. The only problem was the assembling manual.
